A leader in experiential marketing has an EMCEE/BLOGGER position available for one of their entertainment client’s marketing programs. They are now accepting resumes for an experienced emcee/blogger to be part of the team executing a national mobile tour from the East to the West Coast. A successful candidate will have the ability to create a buzz, channel energy, read a crowd as well as possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate selected will have a team-player attitude and desire to work in a fun, fast-paced and exciting environment..
This role requires about a 3 month on the road commitment August 1st 2008 - November 7th 2008***
Core Responsibilities:
* Create a buzz about the client and raise brand awareness
* Attend all events for the designated stops on tour, which may require an average of days per week, and may require days, evenings and/or weekends
* Comfortable speaking on a microphone for an extended period of time.
* Flexible and adaptable to challenging situations
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of all events, which does require some physical labor;
* Submit blog entries for each execution within 24 hours of each event;
• Assist with coordinating event set-up at venues
* Create a fun and exciting environment to drive the consumer experience at events
* Communicate key* brand message to consumers on-site
* Ensure event elements and vehicle are clean and presentable at all times;
* Exhibit knowledge about the brand
* Maintain neat and professional appearance and is dressed in provided uniform at all times;
* Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must have previous Emcee experience
* Must be able to commit (days, nights, weekends) for the duration of the program;
* Tour Manager experience
* Vivacious personality is absolutely necessary to succeed in this position.
* Familiarity/interest in entertainment and social media;
* Previous experience managing part time staff;
* Strong written and oral communication skills required;
* Conduct daily/weekly administrative duties (program expense reports, event recapping, premium and supply inventory and diligent vehicle maintenance)
* Keen sense of urgency to complete responsibilities in a timely manner
* Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* 100% Travel (East Coast and West Coast) is required for this position.
* Class A CDL Drivers license a plus, but not mandatory
* Previous blogger experience a major plus
Duration: Early August 2008 - Early November 2008. Applicants must be available for the specified time period in order to be considered. Dates of employment are subject to change based on program schedule.

BuzzParadise is a community based in 12 countries counting more than 6,000 bloggers. These members are invited to exclusively test new products and services in their favorite fields as well as freely and honestly speak their minds about them on their blogs and in their own environments…
Mission:
3 project phases to be carried out after a brief training period, the candidate would first have to identify and qualify a given number of selected bloggers based on predefined criterion. The candidate would then be in charge of following (under the supervision of a project director) the progress of a
marketing action with the bloggers while monitoring the evolution of the campaign. This will include the creation of a result/report for the client. The candidate will be at a privileged contact point between the bloggers and the brand during the mission, and will successfully complete a community management
operation.
Candidate Profile:
The applicant must be a user of blogs and must also have an excellent knowledge of the American blogosphere (more particularly the 15-25 affluent age segment within the areas of music and urban culture). Ideally, the applicant would already be a blogger that is:
-Comfortable with forging relationships over the Internet
-An active participant in social networks
-Used to frequent blog post exchanges
-Familiar with the use of web 2.0 tools like twitter, mybloglog, etc…
The applicant must have a good overall understanding of how to approach bloggers when asking them to participate in a marketing operation. Ideally, the applicant would possess experience in Public Relations and/or advertising.
