  2. Hey there boys and girls over at blogger jobs! I am interested in blogging about NASCAR. The good, the bad, the what the hell were they thinking, just like it is. I speak my mind and don’t try to paint it pretty. If it sucks, it sucks. I mean.. The original rules of NASCAR state that you have to produce the car that you are going to run, and the engine that’s in it. Ford cars are running 351’s. Chevy’s are running 350’s. Dodge is running the 5.7ltr hemi. Toyota is running…. WHAT? A truck engine. And in a car that is not even available with a v8. Not only that, but it’s only available in a four door?! I mean cmon, how many breaks do you have to give the japanese to get into the sport?! And what the hell is up with this “Car of Tomorrow”? Go ahead and make NASCAR into another Formula 1. See how many fans you lose in the process. I say we all boycott watching NASCAR until the ticket prices come down so that the average fan can afford to go to a race, and they get back to the roots.

  4. I have always been interested in sports, and my main three are basketball (pro and college), football (NFL and college) and baseball.

I was the Sports Editor of my college newspaper and Sports Director of our college radio station. I have done sports announcing in high school football and basketball. I love to write about sports and try to share other sides that the common person might see in the sports world that sometimes the media might miss.

Get in touch with me if you need a sports blogger, with so much going on in sports, I have lots that can be said about baseball starting in Japan, the women’s NCAA tournament (and why it isn’t on as much as the men’s NIT) and many other sports stories.

  6. I am a college student at Ohio State University and sports are my absolute passion. That has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. I consider myself highly knowledgeable in professional baseball, college and professional football, college and professional basketball, professional hockey, and soccer(US and abroad). I follow the other major sports(tennis, golf, other college sports, skateboarding, snowboarding etc…) at a lower level but if needed I feel I have the ability to become proficient in any of those other sports if that is what you need. The only sports I would not enjoy covering are motor sports. I already have my own blog I started recently( dallasprosports.wordpress.com). It is a blog I started recently about the sports teams I grew up cheering for. It is a blog that I write as a fan first but it is a writing sample you could check out if you like. It is not written for that purpose however.

Sports are unequivocally my passion and I can blog for you if you would like to see what I could do. Let me know the price you are looking at. My expertise is not locally based, and I feel I would be an asset to what you already have.

  7. What do you say “Hey”. I am a passionate life long sports fan who is ready to share my opinions and insights to anyone and everyone. We are currently in the midst of probably the most unique MLB season ever, and guess what, no one is paying attention. Certainly not by the big bullies on the block, **cough** ESPN. I mean if I have to turn on Baseball Tonight one more time and hear about the stinking Yankees I’m gonna lose it. Tim “I get paid by the Evil Empire” Kirchin talking about how Andy Pettite dominated against the last place Mariners is an absolute disgrace. Memo to Tim, not all baseball fans live in NYC or are Yankee fans. Let’s start giving the 2008 MLB season the justice it deserves. There are some amazing stories and it’s about time that people start reading about it: The Tampa Rays and arguably the best pitching rotation in the AL, the FL Marlins and their impending murderers row line-up, and how about the potential triple crown winner Josh Hamilton and his Texas Rangers.

Anyways, I’m a strong writer who’s just dropped out of the rat race looking to start doing what he loves, watch, eat, sleep and live sports. If you need a sports blogger, I would definitely be interested in any opportunities available. Thank you for your consideration.
